Support Services

At Salem Academy Charter School, we are deeply committed to supporting the whole student academically, emotionally, and socially. Our comprehensive network of student support services is intentionally designed to meet a wide range of needs, ensuring that every student is equipped to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.

Each grade level team includes a dedicated special education liaison and teacher. Salem Academy employs two full-time adjustment counselors, one supporting Middle School and the other supporting High School. Additional services include paraprofessional support, speech and language services, and reading services. When the team determines additional resources are needed, Salem Academy employs consulting psychologists and specialists.

Salem Academy welcomes students who are just beginning to learn English. Our licensed multilingual learner (ML) teachers and SEI-endorsed classroom staff help students navigate unique challenges, translate cultural expectations, and embrace the gifts they bring to our school community.
